Galaxy Note 10 with triple variable aperture?
With the Galaxy S9 Samsung had introduced a variable aperture, which can switch between two apertures.
The Galaxy Note 10 may come with a third level. According to the Leaker Ice Universe, grade 10 should be able to vary between F1.5, F1.8, and F2.4. The information should come from Samsung engineers from China.
This would give users more flexibility in designing images. In addition, Ice Universe has released another image of a protective film.
This time also the hole for the front camera is to be seen, which should be placed in the middle. He also points out that there are probably no speaker grooves in the front area of the smartphone.
It is possible that Samsung dispenses with a telephony loudspeaker at touch 10 and transmits the sound via the display instead.
For example, Huawei uses the same technology on the P30 Pro, but according to our measurements, this leads to a low volume when making a call.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10: Release event reportedly on August 7th
The plans for the next Unpacked event from Samsung have apparently leaked. The launch of the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Pro at an event on Wednesday, August 7, held in New York. According to the sources of Cnet, Samsung is to lease the Barclays Center in Brooklyn as in the previous year.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was launched on Thursday, August 9, 2018. The smartphone started trading about two weeks later on Friday, August 24th.
Accordingly, the launch of the Galaxy Note 10 on 7 August is expected to be a market launch in week 34. If Samsung points to Friday as it did last year, this would be August 23.
Galaxy Note 10: Release in late August?
Even the rumors about the release date of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 are getting more concrete. While some of the reports are coming from an August 10 release, Leaker Evan Blass has now released the marketing calendar for the US mobile operator Verizon. This is the launch of the Galaxy Note 10 for the second half of August.
It should be remembered that this is just a rough timeline. It is also unclear whether Verizon has marked the date of the presentation or the start of sales here. For a dealer, of course, the latter is the more crucial date.
A sales start around the 20th of August would then turn the presentation of the product just under two weeks before appear realistic.
Of course, it is not known whether Verizon has already learned the actual dates from the manufacturers. The rough planning for the calendar can also be based on experience.
Galaxy Note 10 with 4,170 mAh battery for over $ 1,000?
Shortly after the publication of render images, 91Mobiles provides more information about Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Pro. According to the sources of the Indian side, both models should receive a 4,170 mAh battery.
This contradicts previous rumors about a much smaller battery at grade 10 (see below). Charging should be possible with 25 watts – previously also over 45 watts was speculated.
According to the source, the displays are also slightly larger than previously expected. The Note 10 should, therefore, have a 6.4-inch display, the Note 10 Pro 6.8 inches.
The presentation of the two smartphones is expected for the 10th of August. The possible price for the standard model could be between 1000 and 1200 US dollars.
Physical buttons, headphone jack, and charger
Samsung has experimented with a touch 10 with no buttons. The prototypes discarded. Grade 10 should, therefore, be equipped with physical keys. That the headphone jack is missing, however, is confirmed.
This concludes the rumor mill that the battery can be charged with 45 watts. Note 9 offers in comparison charging with a maximum of 15 watts.
Without a headphone jack?
While other manufacturers have long renounced the 3.5 mm jack for headphones, Samsung had previously held on to it.
This could change with the Galaxy Note 10. Forgoing a headphone jack could create more room for a larger battery inside.
In addition, Samsung should also do without physical buttons. This rumor has been around for some time and AndroidPolice now seems to have confirmation.
Instead of actual buttons, pressure-sensitive areas should come, which take over the tasks of a power button, volume buttons, and Bixby button.
Galaxy Note 10: Details about the camera and first render images
The rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 are getting more concrete and now published concept images could come quite close to the final design of the smartphone.
The Leaker Ice Universe has published a schematic drawing on Twitter, which will show the arrangement of the four camera lenses. Accordingly, three cameras would be positioned below each other and a fourth sensor next to it.
In subsequent tweets, he states that the Note 10 is the last Samsung flagship to use a 1 / 2.55 inch CMOS sensor with 1.4-μm pixels.
The Galaxy S11 will receive a new larger CMOS sensor with large pixels next year. Incidentally, he assumes that the camera with 5x zoom will not be used in grade 10.
The Galaxy Note 10 could come in these colors
Samsung may be planning different colors for the various Samsung Galaxy Note 10 models.
It should give the normal grade 10 in a pink hue and in some markets in the red. In addition, the classic colors black, white and silver are planned.
The larger Note 10 Pro, on the other hand, could only be offered in the latter colors.
Galaxy Note 10 Pro with a larger battery?
Again, a new detail on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro has appeared. The larger Note 10 model will be equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery.
This suggests the image of a Samsung battery with just that capacity, which has now emerged. According to GSMArena , the model number EB-BN975ABU can be seen on the battery. This, in turn, could correspond to the model number SM-N975 of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro.
With 4,500 mAh, the battery of the Note 10 Pro would be larger than the Galaxy Note 9 (4,000 mAh) or the Galaxy S10 + (4,100 mAh). Only the Galaxy S10 5G comes with the same capacity.
Is there a Galaxy Note 10 Pro?
After it became known last week that there could be four Note 10 models, the Leaker Ice Universe on Twitter is throwing the name Note 10 Pro into the room.
If you take both rumors together, it could result from the fact that the larger model should receive the suffix “Pro”. How much will normal and pro versions differ? So far, a larger display and an additional camera is mentioned.
With a quad camera and 5G
It will take a few more months until the launch of Samsung’s Galaxy Note model of 2019 and not much is known about the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 – not even if it really is.
Samsung may change the naming of the Note series. As long as we do not know anything concrete, we stick to the previous term.
After the triple cameras in Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 +, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 could get a quad camera.
Whether it is similar equipment as the Galaxy S10 5G is unclear. However, it is to be expected that the fourth camera sensor and a time-of-flight camera will be used for room surveying, as is the case with the newly introduced Huawei P30 Pro.
Note 10 without physical buttons
According to recent reports the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 could do without any physical buttons.
Accordingly, Samsung is currently looking for a supplier to implement a buttonless smartphone. In addition to the grade, 10 devices of the A-series should be equipped with it. By avoiding physical buttons, the design should become more uniform.
